Manuscript letter from Lt Col Rivarola, Commanding the Sicilian Regiment, to the British Consul in Genoa, Malta, 24 Mar 1816. Rivarola advises the Consul that he had disbanded his regiment that day, settled their pay and permitted them to retain their uniforms. The letter was carried by Dr Joseph Taberna, former Assisstant Surgeon of the regiment, who had charge of men from Upper Italy returning to their homes.
