Covers the campaign in the Low Countries March 1793-April 1795 in considerable detail.
Powell has some revealing comments to make on the local inhabitants and Britain’s Austrian allies.
After a short period in England the 14th Foot embarked for service in the West Indies in November 1795 and after a very rough voyage reached Barbados in March 1796 where the narrative ends.
