Description
Manuscript diary kept by Nurse Dora Louise Harris of the New Zealand Contingent whilst serving as a Nursing Sister in South Africa, April 1900- May 1901. Relates Nurse Harris’ service at No 2 General Hospital, Wynberg, Cape Town, and No 8 General Hospital, near Bleomfontein. At both hospitals her patients were suffering from enteric. Associated with the Boer War (1899-1902).
