Surgeon General Sir Thomas Longmore, 1875. Uncoloured mezzotint after Charles John Tomkins, 1875. Signed ‘Yours very truly Thos Longmore’. Sir Thomas Longmore (1816-1895) was Surgeon-General and Professor of Military Surgery at the Army Medical School at Netley. He was a veteran of the Crimean War (1854-1856).
