Description
Oil lamp, 1885. Silver, made by F E, hallmarked London 1885-86; the lamp is impressed ‘Hinks and Son’s Patent’ Lamp with cut glass bowl supported on a canopy over an elephant, on octagonal base with silver figure at each corner on the base is a silver shield. Associated with Col J Browne, Brig E F Lynch, 94th Regiment of Foot, 2n d Bn Connaught Rangers, 2nd Bn Loyal Regiment.
