Snuff box, 1889 (c). Silver, hallmarked London 1889 In the form of a cylinder with top hinged lid chaised with scrolling flora and fauna, upon low hexagonal wood plinth bearing plaque. Pale amethyst set in top. Inscribed ‘The Snuff Box from The Old Ram’s Head belonging to the Officers 9th Bombay Infantry’.
