Statuette of an officer of 101st Foot, 1820 (c), 1913; silver, by the Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Company Limited, hallmarked London 1912; with plate on the front of plinth naming the donors, and two other plates commemorating sporting events; on an ebonized wooden plinth. To commemorate the winning of various sporting competitions (tug-of-war; cross country; obstacle etc.). Officer in coatee with lapels and one epaulette wearing a bell-topped shako, carrying a sword- may be meant as the the Bengal European Regiment, 1820 (c).
