Description
Officer’s patrol jacket, left section, Royal Irish Rifles, with cuff and left side collar for King’s Royal Rifle Corps and right side collar for Rifle Brigade, 1880-1896, standard pattern, 1880. Rifle green wool cloth. Single breasted. Left side collar of scarlet wool cloth, upright, closed at front, with black metal hook fastening. Right side collar of blue velvet, upright, closed at front, with black metal hook fastening. Black silk stock patch. Scarlet pointed cuffs. Black mohair lace at front, back vent and left and right collars. Black Russia pattern braid. Black mohair square cord. Black flat silk crochet buttons. Black silk lining.
