Other ranks’ cap badge, 3rd Volunteer Bn Gloucestershire Regiment, 1900 (c)-1908. White metal. A sphinx facing dexter resting on a frosted tablet bearing the burnished honour. Below and flanking the tablet, twin sprays of laurel leaves, at the centre of which is a shield charged with the Arms of Bristol. Below all a frosted scroll bearing the burnished title. Reverse bears two horizontally placed loop fittings in copper.
