Description
Officers’ shoulder belt plate, West Halifax Local Militia, 1808-1816. A silver frosted scroll with roped border bearing the regimental title, within which a silver rose, the whole upon a gilt ground. On reverse a hook at upper edge and two studs at lower edge with a white chamois leather lining.
