Pair of formation badges, 49th (West Riding) Division, 1914-1939. White metal. A Tudor rose in high relief, fixed upon a piece of khaki cloth with a round brass knurled nut fitting and a saucer-shaped brass washer. This type of badge was worn during this period until a change of design in 1940.
