Description
Badge, Territorial Army Nursing Service, worn by Sister Isobel J Ballantine, 1939-1946. Silver. Within a circlet surmounted by a monarchial crown, two letters ‘A’ placed in saltire (the cypher of Queen Alexandra). Below all, a scroll. Suspended by a ring from a scarlet ribbon with a central white stripe, attached to a brooch fitting. The wearer served with the Territorial Army Nursing Service from 1936 to 1939.
