Regimental medal for gallantry awarded to Pte J White, Royal Lincolnshire Regiment, 1920. Silver. Design in relief within a raised rim on both sides. Suspended by a fixed ring, upon a loose ring, through which passes a crimson corded silk ribbon with a central blue stripe. Obverse: At the centre, a sphinx upon a tablet. Below the tablet, a scroll. Above the sphinx, within a laurel wreath the numeral ‘10’. Surrounding all, twin sprays of laurel, superimposed upon which are scrolls. Reverse: Inscription, within a laurel wreath. Associated with Ireland (1916-1922).
