Description
Officers’ helmet plate, 2nd Administrative Bn, Lincolnshire Rifle Volunteers, 1878-1880. Mounted upon an eight-pointed rayed star, the topmost point of which is displaced by a monarchial crown, a laurel wreath within which is a garter. Within the garter a French horn upon a black velvet ground. Three loop fittings upon the reverse.
