Description
Pouch badge, 4th Prince of Wales Own Regiment of Madras Light Cavalry, worn by Lt Col Willoughby Wallace Hooper, 1884-1891. White metal. A circlet surmounted by the Prince of Wales’s plumes, coronet and motto, an elephant statant facing right upon a tablet. Superimposed at the base of the circlet an oval tablet, on either side of which are scrolls. The badge has three screw and nut fittings upon the reverse.
