Description
Officers’ waistbelt clasp, 1st Monmouthshire Artillery Volunteers, 1860-1878. Plain gilt metal belt fittings. Mounted upon a rectangular burnished gilt metal gilt, a white metal design of the Royal Shield, within a garter surmounted by a monarchial crown, the garter itself within a Union wreath, with a scroll at the base of the wreath. Flat hook fitting on reverse.
