Officers’ plaid brooch, 1st Perthshire Volunteer Bn Black Watch (Royal Highlanders), 1883-1884. Silver. Within a wreath of thistles a frosted circlet bearing the raised motto ‘DIA AGUS AR DUTHAICH’, pierced within which is a lion rampant upon a heraldic wreath. Brooch fitting on reverse, along with small loop fitting at top of reverse.
