Knight Companion, Star. White metal, gilt metal and enamel. The eight points of the star are hinged at the centre and the rays are pierced at the tips for attaching to a coat. The central back plate is missing.

HRH Edward Augustus, Duke of Kent and Strathern was elected a Royal Knight Companion of this order in 1786 and installed in 1801. The star is of the style made from 1800 (c) to 1810.
