Officers’ pouch belt plate, 19th Surrey Rifle Volunteers, 1860-1880. Blackened metal. Within a wreath, the sinister half of which is palm, the dexter half laurel, surmounted by a monarchial crown, a stringed bugle horn upon a frosted ground. Below the wreath, a scroll. Three screw fittings on reverse, one with a nut.
