A star similar in shape to the star of the Order of the Thistle, the topmost point of which is displaced by a monarchial crown. At the centre, within an oval, a saltire upon a horizontally milled ground. Superimposed upon the saltire, a thistle in high relief. Two loop fittings on reverse.
