Description
Officers’ waistbelt clasp, Warwickshire Rifle Volunteers, Volunteer Bn Royal Warwickshire Regiment, 1884-1885. Silver. The belt fittings are embellished with an oakleaf design. Mounted upon a domed and burnished circular plate, a spray of oak leaves and acorns. Surrounding the plate a frosted circlet. The clasp is hallmarked upon the inner edge of each of the belt fittings, although the dexter fitting lacks the lion passant and anchor.
