Other ranks’ helmet plate, Tyne Division Royal Engineers (Volunteers) Submarine Miners, 1888-1901. White metal. The Royal Arms. Below, a frosted scroll, below which is a tripartite frosted scroll. Below all, a further frosted scroll. Reverse bears two horizontally placed copper loop fittings.
