Description
Officers’ pouch belt plate, 2nd Essex Rifle Volunteers, 1860-1880. White metal. A frosted garter surmounted by a monarchial crown. Within garter, three seaxes fesswise in pale, blades to the sinister, upon a frosted ground. Reverse bears two screw and nut fittings, at top and bottom.
