Description
Officers’ waistbelt clasp, 36th Cheshire Rifle Volunteers, 1865-1880. White metal. Belt fittings of foliate design. Upon a circular burnished slightly domed plate, a mounted design of ‘36’ surmounted by a monarchial crown. Below the numerals, a stringed bugle-horn. Surrounding the plate, a frosted circlet. Surrounding the circlet, a laurel wreath.
