Gorget, Guernsey Royal Artillery, 1800 (c). Copper gilt. Engraved design at centre front of a shield bearing the Arms of the Channel Islands, with colours indicated in trick, surmounted by an heraldic wreath upon which is a vertical branch of laurel leaves. Below the shield, a scroll. Two loops of blue silk ribbon, the sinister having a blue silk rosette attached, are threaded through the holes at the tips of the hems. Gorget backed with chamois leather.
