Bound indexed manuscript letter book, containing eighty copies of out letters, fifteen are also addressed to Lord Kitchener and thirteen to Maj Clive Wigram, Buckingham Palace. Also included is a typed 8 paged appreciation headed ‘Notes on the situation of the Allied Forces in Flanders at the beginning of 1915’, and ‘Notes on the attack on Nueve Chapelle’ dated 2 Feb 1915, both for the attention of Lord Kitchener and a letter from Monsieur Millerand to Lord Kitchener, regarding the manufacture by the French of mortars for use in the British Army, 13 Mar 1915.
