Printed silk address presented to Maj C L Peart, 106th Hazara Pioneers, by the Cadet College Munshis, Quetta, 15 Oct 1917. Rectangular piece of beige silk, not hemmed, printed in sepia with a central Made in Quetta. Headed: ‘FAREWELL ADDRESS/ Most respectively presented to Major C.L. Peart Sahib by his humble/ servants, the Cadet College Munshis, as a poor testimony of respect/ and devotion and a deep sense of gratitude and esteem.’ There follows an address and a poem (see photograph for text) and the date: ‘QUETTA/ The 15th October 1917,’ with the names of ten signatories.
