The Great British Regiments. Folder containing 29 replica badges published as a promotional item by Texaco Limited, 1974 (c). The item’s cover shows ‘Scotland Forever!’, Lady Butler’s painting of the charge of the 2nd (or Royal North British) Dragoons at Waterloo. Inside is a sheet with spaces for 30 replica badges, each of which was collected using one petrol coupon. Madeleine Ginsburg collected the badges for her son Mark, but missed out on one of the thirty, the badge for the Royal Green Jackets. Inside the left-hand side of the folder is an information booklet, with several images from the National Army Museum’s collection and a foreword by Lt Gen Sir Brian Horrocks.
