Officer’s sword belt plate, East Brecon Local Militia, 1808-1816
A gilt corner cut oblong plate. In the centre a garter strap inscribed EAST BRECON LOCAL MILITIA. Inside the strap the Prince of Wales’s feathers and scrolls inscribed ICH DIEN in silver metal with a gilt crown underneath the feathers and in between the scrolls. The rear fixing are a hook and two studs.
