Jacket, short frogged, Roxburgh Yeomanry Cavalry, 1800 (c)
Dark blue wool cloth with yellow facings, embroidered with silver metal thread lace. White metal hollow back buttons bearing the initials ‘RY’ beneath a St Edward’s Crown in three rows to front. White metal chain link y-shaped epaulettes on yellow backing with silver bullion braid around to each shoulder attached with stitching to two points on shoulder and with button to collar. Silver bullion lace to reverse with two additional buttons. Cream cotton lining with internal pocket to left breast. Evidence of historic moth damage to reverse.
