Description
Shako, 2nd West India Regiment of Foot, 1855-1861 pattern. Black beaver with black patented leather crown, front and back peaks. Gilt shako plate with ‘2’ surrounded by ‘WEST INDIA REGT surmounted by crown. Red leather sweatband and lined with crimson silk stamped with manufacturer’s mark: PULFORD & COMPY / 65 St James’s St London
