Jug, 1842. Silver, by George Gordon and Company, Madras, 1842 (c). Bulbous, kidney-shaped body on elliptical base, inscribed on base ring, with highly decorated bifurcated handle. Associated with Maj Robert Thorpe, 27th Madras Native Infantry. One of a pair.
