Colour photolithographic postcard of an oil painting of Capt Colin MacKenzie, Madras Army, by James Sant, 1842 (c). Published by the National Army Museum, 2003. Mackenzie, later Lieutenant General, 48th Madras Native Infantry supposedly in the dress he wore as a prisoner of the Afghans. Postcard is in portrait format. Associated with 1st Afghan War (1838-1842).
