Description
Egyptian Army haversack, 1956. Containing an Egyptian coin Although Egypt was attempting to modernise her army, this poorly finished webbing equipment was carried by most of the troops. It was picked up by Capt John Harper-Nelson, Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, at Suez during the Anglo-French invasion, 1956.
