Description
The chief object of interest at 1. p.m. “D” Company’s Cook, 1897 (c). Pen and ink sketch by Francis Ambrose D’Oyly Goddard (1866-1962), 1897 (c), signed lower right, initialled on left. A group of officers and privates at camp, watching an Indian cook at work, some poised with plates and cups, with pots steaming over an open fire.
