Description
Side Drum, taken from Turkish Forces captured at Ctesiphon by Lieutenant-Colonel Cecil de la Rue Mears, 16th Cavalry, Indian Army, 1917 (c) Brass, front with relief bronze crescent surmounted by impressed Turkish inscription, flesh hoops and drum heads whole, brass cord hoops with six brass rod brackets, two snares in twine. Associated with World War One (1914-1918).
