Description
Beadwork snake, 1918. Inscribed on the underside, ‘TURKISH PRISONER 1918’. Made from glass beads and fabric, light blue and white with a black zig-zag pattern on the back; with a Union Flag in the pattern beside it. Probably made by a British prisoner of war in Turkish captivity, World War One (1914-1918).
