Ebony spur rack, 1850-1858 (c); constructed from a semi-circular bar terminating in carved boars’ heads, which rest on an ovoid base relief moulded with a petal boarder; the heads are inset with three lower teeth and two upper curved tusks in ivory; the bar is perforated with twelve holes which receive the heel bars of six pairs of spurs; owned by Maj Arthur Samuel Mills, 58th Bengal Native Infantry.
