W J McCracken R.A.M.C.’ and the badge of the Royal Army Medical Corps; inside cover bears the inscription, ‘6613 Aldershot 1890-85 [sic] Retired April 1908 Bordon Hants. Died 5.7.16 Portsmouth Hants’.
