Photocopies of letters and other papers relating to the Prince of Wales' Regiment of Light Dragoons, June 1797 and March-September 1799. Collected by the Earl of Darlington, Colonel of the regiment. The correspondence refers to the desire of the officers and men of this fencible cavalry unit to be returned to England from Ireland where they were stationed. The item of 1797 is a printed protestation of loyalty by the Non-Commissioned Officers.
