Sweetheart brooch for the British Empire Service League, c1950. A circlet surmounted by a crown, inscr ‘THE BRITISH EMPIRE SERVICE LEAGUE’, inside circlet inscr ‘RHODESIA’, scroll below inscr ‘B.E.S.L’. Brass and enamel, inscr on verso ‘THOMAS FATTORINI/ LTD/ REGENT ST/ BIRMINGHAM’, 1950 (c). Associated with Maj H Berry, Royal West African Frontier Force.
