Gold pocket watch, 1861. Presented to Sgt Maj Philip Davies on his retirement by the officers of the Kelat-i-Ghilzie Regiment. Manufactured by James McCabe, hallmarked London, 1861-1862. White enamel dial, black Roman hour numerals; gold hour and minute hands, steel second hand. Open face engine turned case with gold press stud, suspension ring, glass hinges in circular frame. Flat spring with fuses attachment for even running on an unwound spring; blued steel screws. Case makers and hallmark inside dome; outside dome bears inscription. Key in brass and steel
