Pattern 1895, Infantry Officer’s sword, 1911-36; blade of dumbbell section, with engraved decoration, including the royal coat of arms and G.R.I cypher; pierced scroll guard of steel, the inside guard is turned down and bears the G.R.I cypher under a crown; leather knot with acorn; owned by J.K.R Murray; described as ‘Indian universal pattern’.
