Riding whip, 1920-1930 (c); made from plaited maroon cord, four ply thick, around a wooden core; polished bone handle with a head of gilt metal decorated with a relief of scrolling fauna; the name, T H Plumer is engraved on the staff socket and the join between handle and staff is bound with a gilt collar; owned by Lady Plumer, wife of FM The Viscount Herbert Charles Onslow Plumer.
