One pair of Scottish Command formation badges, 1945 (c). Rectangular in shape woven in gold silk thread with the heraldic lion rampart of Scotland, on to a cotton background of scarlet with a central horizontal black band. Worn by Mrs A V Rose, Auxiliary Territorial Service. Sgt J G Rose, Mrs Rose’s husband, was also in the army, serving with The Queen’s Bays (2nd Dragoon Guards) and The Royal Tank Regiment, 1928-1952.
