Scots Guards waistbelt clasp, 1901-1953. Gilding-metal and white metal (now blackened). Male part of clasp only. Rectangular seeded background on which, a bordered circlet of intertwined thistles, all in gilding-metal. On the thistles, the Star of the Order of the Thistle in white metal. At the centre of this, a circlet containing the motto and a thistle in gilding-metal. The top point of the star is displaced by the Queen's Crown in gilding-metal. One lug on reverse.
