Pattern 1821, Light Cavalry Officer’s sword; slightly curved pipe backed blade, spear pointed and double edged for the last 10 inches or so; engraved with William IV cyphers on both sides and maker’s name Hawkes Moseley and Co; three bar guard with stepped pommel, fishskin grip; crimson and gold acorn sword knot.
