Description
Officers’ pouch belt plate, 33rd Lancashire (2nd Manchester) Rifle Volunteers, 1860-1880. White metal. An oval frosted garter surmounted by a monarchial crown and enclosing, upon a vertically-reeded ground, three lions passant gardant in pale, the upper lion ensigned by a label of three points (the charge from the shield of the Duke of Lancaster). Three screw, nut and washer fittings on the reverse.
