Other ranks’ waistbelt clasp, 1st Administrative Bn (The Border) Roxburgh Rifle Volunteers, 1868-1882. Blackened brass. Plain belt fittings. Upon central frosted circular plate, relief design of a monarchial crown below a frosted scroll and above a vertically milled heart, the whole plate surrounded by a frosted circlet with burnished rims.
