Medal commemorating a banquet in honour of the Duke of Wellington and the tenth anniversary of his appointment as Lord Warden of the Cinque Ports, 1839. Bronze, with relief design within a raised rim on both sides. Obverse: Within a border of bell-shaped flowers, a portrait bust in high relief of the Duke of Wellington in profile facing dexter. Reverse: A depiction of Dover Castle, with inscription below in exergue. Inscription divided down the centre by a shield projecting slightly above the exergue and charged with the Arms of the Cinque Ports Corporation (per pale three demi-lions passant gardant in pale dimidated with and cojoined to as many demi-hulks of ships, without colours indicated).
